Sam Warwick, owner of Living Spaces, is a Michigan Licensed Builder and Contractor. He is a graduate of Michigan State University from which he holds a BS in Construction Management, BA in Art & Design and a Teaching Certificate for art and drafting. In 2008 Sam was appointed to the MSU Construction Management Alumni's and Industry Advisor Association and he is currently assisting construction management students in kitchen and bath design and construction.
Sam's interest and experience in kitchens and baths, as well as in building custom homes, is long and deep thanks to a Sylvan Lake construction business founded by his family in 1946.
Tom Strayhorn, our construction manager has been described by clients as a man whose carpentry skills are unsurpassed. They are comfortable in calling him with any questions on scheduling or construction to complete their projects. With over 20 years of cabinet installation, and construction expertise in plumbing, electrical and especially in finish carpentry, we consider Tom a Master Craftsman.

Designer Maciek Trzos started his professional career at Living Spaces thirteen years ago. Inspired by historical art and archecture in Krakow, Poland where he was born. Maciek attended Krakow University of Technology School of Archecture, studying Residential and Interior Design.Upon graduation he immigrated to Canada continuing his studies in computer graphics while working on construction projects. Maciek's talent and studies conbined with his European heritage and building experience have led him to a successful career as the senior designer at Living Spaces.

Three years ago when my wife and I first launched our desire to create our dream kitchen, we looked to many of southeast Michigan kitchen professionals to take on the task. Our approach with them was to present our theme and basic vision and test their creative depth. Most came back with ideas that were from the playbooks found in so many of the trade publications of that year. They lacked freshness and were locked into the safety net of limited creativity.
After meeting with Sam Warwick and Maciek Trzos, we were very impressed with the way they listened and understood the direction we wanted our kitchen to take shape. We were looking for a country "working" kitchen that possessed a professional culinary application that still embraced the archecture and character of our home. They went to task and came up with a design that was dead on.
When the time came to turn Tom Strayhorn loose with installation things really came together. Anyone who has taken on a project like this knows that interior spaces are not perfectly square. Tom is a master at scribing and knows all the tricks of the trade to insure that there are no gaps or open seams. Trim joints are absolutely perfect. He is a master of his craft and the final step to an outstanding team.
Now we enjoy the kitchen of our dreams and it has met all of our expectations. Our family and friends love to spend time here creating incredible food and memories together. Thank all of you at Living Spaces for your hard work.
Sincerely,
Mark and Cindy Howell
